We offer a free course so you can understand how we teach and decide whether our approach is right for you before purchasing a paid course.
Because our paid courses are digital products and access is provided immediately after enrolment, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. This includes situations where you decide the course is not right for you, you no longer have time to complete it, you purchased the wrong course, or you expected a different outcome based on your own circumstances.
Please read the course information carefully before purchasing. If you are unsure whether a course is right for you, contact us before enrolling.
When refunds are not available
Refunds are not available for:
change of mind
choosing the wrong course
deciding after purchase that the course does not suit your circumstances
not completing the course
not using the course
misunderstanding the course where the course description was clear before purchase
When we will help
If there is a genuine problem with your purchase, we will work with you to resolve it.
This includes situations where:
you cannot access the course because of a technical issue on our side
the course is materially different from what was described at the time of purchase
you have been charged incorrectly
we are otherwise required to provide a remedy under Australian Consumer Law
Where a genuine issue exists, the appropriate remedy may include technical support, restored access, a partial refund, a full refund, or another remedy required by law. Under Australian Consumer Law, consumer guarantees apply to products and services sold online, including digital products, and those rights cannot be excluded by a refund policy.
Before requesting a refund
If you are having trouble accessing your course, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. In many cases, access problems can be fixed without the need for a refund.
Requesting help
If you believe there is a genuine issue with your purchase, contact us within 7 days of becoming aware of the problem and include:
your full name
the email address used for purchase
the name of the course
the date of purchase
a brief description of the issue
We may ask for further information so we can review the matter properly.
Chargebacks and disputed transactions
If you believe a charge on your card is unauthorised or there is a genuine problem with your purchase, please contact us first so we have the opportunity to review the issue and try to resolve it with you directly.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is lodged, we reserve the right to contest it where we believe the claim is inaccurate, misleading or not supported by the facts. In those cases, we may provide relevant records to the payment provider or financial institution handling the dispute. This may include purchase records, course access logs, login activity, correspondence, technical records and other information reasonably available to us that helps verify the transaction and the delivery of the course.
We take fraudulent or baseless payment disputes seriously. Where a claim does not reflect what occurred, we will use the information available to us to defend it.
Access during chargebacks and disputed transactions
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, we may suspend access to the relevant course, downloaded materials and the associated Academy account while the matter is being reviewed.
If the dispute is resolved in our favour and the purchase is confirmed as valid, access may be restored.
If the chargeback is upheld, reversed in the customer’s favour, or the payment is otherwise withdrawn, access to the relevant course, materials and related account features may be cancelled. Continued access is conditional on a valid completed purchase.
We also reserve the right to refuse future purchases or enrolments where a payment dispute has been raised fraudulently, misleadingly or without a reasonable basis.
This section does not exclude any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees still apply where required by law, and electronic payment disputes may also be handled under the rules of the relevant card scheme, bank process, or the ePayments Code where applicable.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
